FIRST NAUMATI BAJA GULMI UK (amended on 29 Jan 2012, 2nd AGM)
The 2nd Committee Meeting of Gulmi Zilla Samaj UK which sat in Farnborough on 26 April 2009 decided that a Naumati Baja is to be purchased and this was bought in March 2010. Now known as First Naumati Baja Gulmi UK. The administration of the Naumati Baja will be done by a subcommittee and the aim of the subcommittee will be as follows: Officially the Naumati Baja Gulmi UK was launched on 10th April 2010, Curious? what is Naumati baja?
1. To keep our tradition and cultural customs during any happy occasion and to remind one of their Nepalese tradition.
2. To create a team to play the Naumati Baja in due course.
3. Assist the Gulmi Zilla Samaj UK in future on successful implementation.

Anyone not listed above are most welcome but must be trained by one of the above individuals. The security of the instruments is to be the responsibility of the individuals and is not to be given to anyone else.
Committee Rules:
1. The Chief Coordinator must be a member of the Gulmi Zilla Samaj UK Committee Members.
2. The committee must be informed of any functions at least 3 weeks in advance.
3. The committee must train at least 3 weeks before any programme.
4. The committee members must inform the Coordinator/Chief Coordinator at least 3 weeks before if they are unable to participate on any function so that suitable replacement can be found.
5. Care and maintenance of the instruments is the responsibility of the individuals including any damages.
6. The instruments are to be stored centrally in one location.
7. The instrument is not to be given to strangers or anyone else for practise or playing.
8. The manager can authorise the issue of the instruments for practise to individuals.
9. Band uniform should be maintain by instrument players individually, in case of lost or damaged uniform report to the head of band and if any of you being away for long period please let know team head as soon as possible..
Booking Rules:
1. The fees for the instruments besides the functions of Gulmi Zilla Samaj UK, the sum of £50.00 will be kept by the committee.
2. Three hours is it's duration of playing Naumati Instruments and if need further time to playing will be added £5.00 per person/hour
For community celebration or any functions only £350.00
Private Booking e.g. Marriage Celebrations
and any kind of functions
The total cost for Nine Instruments first 3 hours will be £550.00
The total cost for Eleven Instruments first 3 hours will be £620.00
Any tips given is not to be added to the above costs.
3. Anyone wishing to book need to consults the Chief Coordinator/Coordinators who will be the main point of contact for bookings.
4. All Public Liability Event Insurance license and administration for Health & Safety Security and First Aid is to be the responsibility of the booking person.
5. A 25% non-refundable deposit is to be made at least 3 weeks before the functions and the final payments is to be done at the end of the band programme. Payments can be made by cash or cheque payable to Gulmi Zilla Samaj UK. All requirements are to be forwarded to the Coordinator during the booking.
6. The above rules will be amended as required by the Chief Coordinator/Coordinator.
